National Book Store Ali Mall Warehouse Sale (August 13-17, 2014)

September 1st just rolled in, and haven't updated this blog yet. Oh dear! Here, I'm going to feature a steal I had when I went to the rotating National Bookstore Warehouse Sale in Alimall, Cubao. I went there in the last day, August 17,  because I got no money to go there on their first day ~ Well anyways, that doesn't matter, I wasn't even expecting to get something from there at first...

But here, you can show that I got 4 items:

I cannot remember the order of the items that I grabbed first, but let's feature the stickers first:

What I know, is that the first time that I saw such stickers several years ago, was that I need them... bad. For my journal.

I was reluctant to purchase them at first, because my mentality then was:

"I don't need it."
Until I realized that I can give this as a gift.

So I bought it.

ORIGINAL PRICE: Php 44.50

These Pocket Stickers are a cute and convenient way
to keep precious notes or small memorabilias
which are difficult to adhere to your page.

They're sure to keep your souvenirs for a long, long time.

Very easy to use. Simply peel off and attach
to your scrapbook layouts or craft projects.

BOUGHT AT: Php 10.00
That's right. Only for Php 10.00 Consider this as a steal, o right!

SAVED: PHP 34.50
Made in China.
Distributed by: FILSTAR DISTRIBUTORS CORP.

Followed by Scrapbooking Travel Stickers. These "I've been there!" stickers are three-sheet ones.
It includes 1 icon, 1 journaling, and 1 border sticker sheets.

ORIGINAL PRICE: PHP 37.00

BOUGHT FOR ONLY: PHP 10.00
SAVED: PHP 27.00
Honestly, I find this brand expensive. Buying three sheets of stickers for Php 37.00 is somehow pricey for me, even if it's for scrapbooking. I could probably buy 3-5 sheets for less than that price.

Let's move on to the BOOKS.

The instant that I saw this book,
I immediately grabbed it in a snap,
thinking that somebody might grab it as well.

Why?

Well because'
it's in my friggin wishlist!
I mean, a book that I have considered buying...
when I was younger (3 years ago).

It was only sold for PHP 50.00

This book is written by Alex Lacson,
which rings a bell for me.

It's ORIGINAL PRICE: Php 150.00
BOUGHT FOR: Php 50.00

I was really having a headache, until I saw this book on the corner of the table, under lying books.

And do you know what this is??

It's the Eight Edition of Advertising and Promotion book
An Integrated Marketing Communications Perspective.

During college, I was wishing that I could buy this book. It was expensive for me (note: not this edition, but the latest one) that I didn't bothered buying it.

UNTIL
I JUST SAW
IT

AND INSTANTLY
I took this heavy book in my arms.

It's ORIGINAL PRICE??

PHP 1,049.00

It was marked down to Php 30.00
Until it was Php 10.00

SAVED: PHP 1,039.00
What a Happy Shopper I am!

So here are the following items, bought only for PHP 80.00
PHP 55.00

Just realized that the 12 LITTLE THINGS was a Sale book,
making it only Php 25.00

And that's another steal!

Cards, Pocket Notebook, and Snoopy Stickers

On a Friday morning, August 8, 2014, I was able to snag these items for Php 65.00 or around $1.45.

The first one is a three-dimensional postcard :) There are holographic cards, published by a German company, that usually costs around Php 100.00 ($2.30), so they are really pricey to buy. But this card, the price costs only Php 30.00 ($0.68), and since it was on a discount price, I was able to snag it for a whopping Php 10.00!! ($0.23) I didn't saw this one at first, and I am glad that I was able to get this one :)

Original Price: Php 30.00
Bought at: Php 10.00
Saved: Php 20.00

\
So this postcard is from Taiwan pala..~

This set is filled with 10 envelopes, and 8 cards. The cards are not greeting cards, rather, they are only one-sided. So I think they can be perfect to send as postcards :)
Original price: Php 50.00
Bought at: Php 10.00
Saved: Php 40.00

This snoopy stickers were sold at Php 5.00

The next set of items was bought at another UK shop, just below the shop where I bought this. Their original prices weren't stated, except for the wedding card.

This card is priced at Php 10.00.

I am planning to give it to a fellow classmate of mine, Jannie Fabic, who will have her wedding someday soon :) I miss you Jannie! Take care :)

Got this fabulous notebook for Php 10.00 as well. It's a small pocket notebook. Useful for whatever notes that you want to write.

I was very surprised, when I opened it
as the previous owner who had this notebook intended it to be used as a prayer book!
Oh how I was so happy!

In the end,
I gave this pocket notebook to a kid
and she was so happy when she got this.
Right, Danny Rose ;)

Anime postcards are hard to get. Well anyways, I was so happy when I got a touch of
these Naruto postcards.

They were originally 2008 calendar postcards. Too bad, I can only find 5 of them.
Just where are the remaining 7??

Only got three shots here, but they are actually five.

For this one, it's like postcard, and at the same time a greeting card. I really don't know.

FIRST POST :) Please read.

Hello guys! Thank you for stopping by at the bottom of this site ;) I have been planning to start a blog like this two years ago, but then, there is something that is stopping me from doing so.

Well anyways,
I just want to indicate that this blog is for the purpose ofv (<-that's intentional) recording different items bought at a bargain, and is not intended to brag or boast of anything. For the past four years, I developed a love for bargain shopping (which kinda makes me feel win-win btw), and I want to showcase amusing stuff bought for a cheap price.

Well anyways, I hope you also enjoy and amused at this blog.
I am also planning to put on a shop, so I'll probably let you know that when that happened.
